“Human Resource Management is the science and the practice that deals with the nature of the employment relationship and all of the decisions, actions and issues that relate to that relationship. In practice, it involves an organization’s acquisition, development and utilization of employees, as well as the employee’s relationship to an organization and its performance.”(Ferris R, Rosen D Sherman & Barnum T (1995).So Human Resource Management (HRM) refers to a set of programmes, functions and activities designed and carried out in order to maximize both employee as well as organizational effectiveness. “Agri-business is the sum total of all operations involved in the manufacture and distribution of farm supplies, production activities on the farm, storage, processing and distribution of farm commodities and items made from them” ( John David and Gold Berg). Therefore, Agribusiness is sum total of all operations or activities involved in the business of production and marketing of farm supplies and farm products for achieving the targeted objectives. Human Resource Management (HRM) is an important aspect of any business, including agribusiness.
