Item Integrating Technology to Strengthen Educational Research: Opportunities and Challenges(Book Rivers, 2026) Shaista AteequeThis chapter explores the role of technology in strengthening educational research, highlighting both its opportunities and challenges. It begins with a conceptual understanding of educational technology and its connection to research effectiveness. The evolution of technology in research is examined, from traditional methods to modern digital tools that support planning, data collection, analysis, and dissemination. The chapter discusses the opportunities offered by technology, including increased accuracy, efficiency, wider reach, collaboration, and innovative methodologies such as big data and learning analytics. At the same time, it addresses challenges such as the digital divide, ethical concerns, and the need for researcher training. Best practices and strategies are outlined to integrate technology thoughtfully, maintain ethical standards, and combine traditional and digital methods for stronger research outcomes. Finally, future trends such as AI, virtual reality, blockchain, and global collaboration are considered, emphasizing the importance of preparing the next generation of researchers with technological literacy. Overall, the chapter highlights how thoughtful and responsible use of technology can enhance the quality, relevance, and impact of educational research.Item Integration of Indian Knowledge System in Higher Education System(Book Rivers HN 22 Kanchan Nagar Kalyanpur Lucknow UP, 2024) Shaista Ateeque; Saba ParveenEducation is considered the foundation of a nation, and crucial for shaping its future. As the world changes rapidly, updating the education system regularly is important to keep up with current trends and meet today's needs. Despite many changes to the education system in India over the years, providing high-quality education for everyone remains a challenge. This chapter aims to explore how integrating traditional Indian knowledge systems can revitalize the Indian education system. The chapter will look into these traditional knowledge systems and discuss how they can be smoothly added to the current education framework.Item Teachers’ Attitude Towards the Use of Digital Tools in Online Classes: A Theoretical Perspective(International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development (IJTSRD), 2026) Shaista AteequeThe integration of digital tools into education has significantly transformed teaching-learning processes, particularly in the context of online classes. While technological advancements have expanded access, flexibility, and innovation in pedagogy, the effectiveness of online education largely depends on teachers, whose attitudes play a decisive role in shaping instructional practices (Ertmer & Ottenbreit- Leftwich, 2010). This theoretical paper critically examines teachers’ attitudes towards digital tools through psychological, pedagogical, and technological perspectives. Drawing upon established frameworks such as the Technology Acceptance Model (Davis, 1989), the Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1991), the TPACK framework (Mishra & Koehler, 2006), and Constructivist Learning Theory (Piaget, 1972), the paper explores the multidimensional nature of teachers’ attitudes and their determinants. It further analyzes key influencing factors, pedagogical implications, and persistent challenges such as technostress, digital inequality, and contextual constraints (Tarafdar et al., 2015; UNESCO, 2021). The paper argues for a holistic, dynamic, and context-sensitive understanding of teachers’ attitudes and emphasizes the need for sustained institutional support, continuous professional development, and policy interventions to ensure meaningful and sustainable integration of digital tools in education.Item The Impact of Educational Technology on Teacher Training and Development(Book Rivers, 2025) Shaista AteequeThe integration of technology has transformed teacher education, providing new ways to train and support educators. This chapter examines the role of Educational Technology (EdTech) in shaping both pre-service and in-service teacher training. It highlights how technology enhances digital skills, introduces innovative teaching methods, and offers opportunities for practice, feedback, and collaboration. The chapter also traces the historical evolution of teacher training, comparing traditional approaches with technology driven practices, and identifies key milestones in the adoption of EdTech. While the benefits of technology - such as flexibility, reflective practice, and networking are emphasized, challenges like unequal access, lack of technical support, and resistance to change are discussed. The chapter concludes by exploring future directions, including advanced tools, blended learning models, and sustainable implementation strategies. Overall, it demonstrates that EdTech plays a crucial role in improving teacher competencies, professional growth, and the quality of education.
