Item Synthesis and in silico Analysis of 4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole derivative(Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, 2026) Mohd Akil, Iqbal Azad, Abdul Rahman Khan, Naseem AhmadThe present work reports the synthesis of novel chalcone‐derived compounds obtained via simple condensation of chalcone derivatives with phenyl hydrazine. Their design, preparation, and biological assessment are described in detail. Structural elucidation was confirmed by FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and HRMS analyses. In‐silico ADMET profiling, carried out using AdmetLab 3.0 and SwissADME, indicated favorable pharmacokinetic and toxicity parameters, closely resembling those of reference agents Amphotericin B and Ciprofloxacin. These findings underscore the promise of chalcone scaffolds as versatile templates for antibacterial drug development.Item PYRAZOLE MOIETY AS A SOURCE OF NATURAL PRODUCTS: A REVIEW(Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, 2026) Yasmin Ara, Saimah KhanPyrazole is an important nitrogen-containing heterocyclic scaffold that has attracted considerable attention in medicinal chemistry because of its diverse biological and pharmacological activities. Although naturally occurring pyrazolecontaining compounds are relatively rare, several natural products possessing pyrazole nuclei have demonstrated significant therapeutic potential. These compounds exhibit antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant, and anticancer properties, making them valuable candidates for drug discovery and development. The present study reviews the occurrence of pyrazole moieties in natural products, their biological significance, structural characteristics, and pharmaceutical applications. Furthermore, the role of pyrazole-containing natural products as lead compounds for the development of novel therapeutic agents is discussed. The findings highlight the importance of naturally derived pyrazole compounds in modern medicinal chemistry and emphasize future opportunities for the discovery of new bioactive molecules.
