Item Rural Development Schemes in India Through years(Door Publication, 2024) Sunil Kumar, Mustfa HussainRural development schemes in India have played a vital role in improving the socio-economic conditions of rural communities over the years. The Government of India has launched several initiatives aimed at poverty alleviation, employment generation, infrastructure development, and social welfare. Early programs such as the Community Development Programme (1952) and Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP) laid the foundation for rural progress. Later schemes like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), and National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) focused on sustainable livelihoods, connectivity, and women empowerment. Recent initiatives like Digital India, PM-KISAN, and Rural Skill Development Programs emphasize technology, income support, and capacity building. These schemes collectively aim to enhance living standards, promote self-reliance, and ensure inclusive growth. Continuous monitoring, effective implementation, and community participation are essential for achieving long-term rural transformation.Item The Anatomy of Academic Contentment(Sandpiper Publishers 2025, 2025) Orooj Siddiqui, Gaurav Bisaria, Shahab Ud Din, Nazia Akhaq, Afreen Fatima, Arfa SiddiquiJob satisfaction means how happy employees are with their work—it affects their performance and commitment. For university teachers in Lucknow, factors like salary, promotion opportunities, research support, work environment, and job enrichment were studied. Findings show that promotion opportunities and job enrichment are the strongest predictors of satisfaction. Public and private universities differ in salary, promotion, and growth, while gender, marital status, and experience don’t matter much. Universities should focus on fair promotions, balanced workload, and better support to improve faculty satisfaction.Item IDENTIFYING OBSTACLES IN THE EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF LABOUR LAWS FOR WOMEN IN INDIA: CHALLENGES IN IMPLEMENTATION(Noble Science Press, 2024) Vandana Mishra , Mohd Wazid KhanThe intersection of labour laws and women's rights is a crucial aspect of legal and social frameworks globally.
