Item Climate Change Projections Using CMIP6 Models and Shared Socioeconomic Pathways: Advances and Implications for Hydrological Systems(Multispectrum Publications, 2026) Nida Fatma, Amina Jafri, Monowar Alam KhalidClimate change is increasingly influencing global and regional hydrological processes through alterations in temperature, precipitation, and extreme events. The Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) represents the latest advancement in climate modeling, providing improved simulations of Earth system processes and future climate projections under shared socioeconomic pathways (SSPs). This chapter presents a comprehensive overview of CMIP6 models and SSP scenarios, with a focus on their application in hydrological assessments. It discusses projected changes in key climatic variables and their implications for streamflow, groundwater recharge, evapotranspiration, and water resource sustainability. The chapter also highlights methodological challenges, uncertainties, and future research directions, emphasizing the need for integrated modeling approaches in climate impact studies.Item Navigating the Climate Crisis: Public Health Challenges and the Role of Community Empowerment(CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group), 2025) ariya Hasnat, Mohd Kashif Khan, Sania KulsumThe well-being of communities is increasingly threatened by climate change, which exacerbates many health issues that disproportionately impact vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, children, low-income groups, and people with preexisting medical disorders. Rising temperatures, harsh weather, and changing disease patterns are the causes of these issues, which have a direct effect on physical health through an increase in heat-related illnesses, air pollution-induced respiratory disorders, and the spread of vector-borne infections. Indirectly, the stress of living in more insecure surroundings, natural catastrophes, and displacement all contribute to mental health problems that are made worse by climate change. Building community capacity is recognized as an essential strategy for enhancing adaptive resilience in response to these issues. Communities can create customized strategies that help reduce the health risks related to climate change by supporting sustainable practices, encouraging climate adjustment activities, and integrating local populations in decision-making processes. This strategy is also important for making sure that efforts to improve community well-being include marginalized populations, who are frequently the ones most impacted by climate change. The chapter emphasizes the need for a multifaceted strategy that combines scientific innovation, policy development, and community capacity building to address the health implications of climate change. This strategy, which places a strong emphasis on equality and inclusivity, makes sure that the most vulnerable groups are included in the worldwide endeavor to increase adaptive strength. Last but not least, preserving community well-being in the face of climate change necessitates an integrated approach that blends community-level resilience-building with more general policy and scientific developments.Item Climate Change and its Impact on Fruit Production: Adaptation Strategies(Stella International Publication, 2025) Sampurna Nand Singh, Km KusumClimate change poses a significant threat to global fruit production, with rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and increased frequency of extreme weather events disrupting physiological processes, phenological cycles, and pest dynamics. These changes can adversely affect fruit yield, quality, and geographic suitability, challenging food security and agricultural sustainability. This chapter explores the multifaceted impacts of climate change on major fruit crops, focusing on shifts in flowering and fruiting times, increased vulnerability to pests and diseases, and water stress. Furthermore, it highlights a range of adaptation strategies employed across different agro-climatic zones, including the development of climate-resilient cultivars, advanced irrigation techniques, agroforestry integration, and changes in agronomic practices. Policy interventions and research priorities are also discussed to support farmers in navigating an increasingly unpredictable climate. This chapter provides an integrative overview essential for researchers, policymakers, and growers aiming to mitigate climate-related risks and ensure resilient fruit production systems.Item Disaster Dislocation and Weaker Section of Civilisation: A Human Rights Standpoint(SDR Innoways India Pvt. Ltd. And Kavya Publications, 2022) Seema Siddiqui, Aijaz HusainItem Need for Global Partnership in achieving the sustainable development goals(Department of Biotechnology, Integral University, 2025) Syed Uzair Ali, Shariq Shabbir, Zuhaib ullah Khan, Rizwana AtiqThe Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), that was selected for one United Nations (UN) in 2015, are a welcome operation for the global society to curb want, insulate the asteroid, and guarantee affluence for all by 2030. These 17 pertain tenable growth goals cover a expansive range of issues in the way that surroundings change, prejudice, clean strength, value instruction, grammatical rules applying to nouns that connote sex or animateness similarity, and sustainable downtowns, with possible choice. While the SDGs support a guide to future goals for conceiving a more impartial, friendly, and tenable globe, their realisation requires a related, multi-spatial approach. The complicatedness and purview of the SDGs are huge, and no alone country or organisation can realise ruling class unique. Instead, the successful exercise of these aims rests on forceful, all-embracing all-encompassing participations. Governments, trades, civic society organisations, worldwide organisations, and things must agree to address the challenges that prevent progress. This paper investigate the need of all-encompassing alliances in achieving the SDGs, testing the duties of differing collaborators and in what way or manner cooperative works can help overcome obstructions to tenable development.
