Item Drought Stress Tolerance: An Insight into Resistance Mechanism and Adaptation strategies in Plants(Book Rivers, 2026) Shefali Singh, Smita Rai, Affan Rais, Swati Sharma, Abdul Mazeed, NiloferWater is essentially required by all the living systems including plants to maintain normal function of growth and metabolism. Drought stress in plants may affect several activities like cell elongation, morphology, nutrient availability due to the production of ROS and photo oxidation. Present study discusses various aspectsof drought stress in plants and possible solutions to improve the tolerance. Stresses, resulting in the non-normal physiological processes that influence one or a combination of biological and environmental factors. Plant production is limited by environmental stresses, according to different estimates, only 10 percent of the world's arable land is free from stress, in general, a major factor in the difference between yield and potential performance, environmental stresses. Drought is the most important abiotic factor limiting growth, adversely affect plant growth thus, reduces crop production. It is the most common environmental stresses that almost 25 percent of agricultural lands for agriculturalItem Plant Pathology: A Comprehensive Study of Phytopathogens and its Management Strategies(Weser Books, 2023) Mehjabi Hashmi, Nilofer, Anand Milan, Anoop KumarItem Multiple Factor Hypothesis(Weser Books, 2022) Nilofer, Divya Srivastava, Sujit Kumar, Anand Mohan ChoudharyItem Green Revolution(Weser Books, 2022) Nilofer, Divya Srivastava, Mayank Srivastava, Sujit Kumar, N. These pathogens can noticeably diminish the productivity of vital crops on a global scale, with annual crop yield reductions ranging from about 20%–40% attributable to various pathogenic diseases. While the applications of chemical pesticides have proven to be effective in managing numerous diseases in primary crops, the overutilization of synthetic chemicals stimulates adverse consequences for both the environment and human health, thereby deterring the implementation of pesticides within the agricultural domain. Consequently, researchers globally have redirected their investigative efforts towards alternative, environmentally sustainable methodologies aimed at decreasing plant diseases. A diverse array of biological control agents is presently accessible for applications; however, extensive research is imperative to determine potential microbial species and their associated natural products that exhibit broad-spectrum antagonistic properties for the management of crop diseases.Item Cost Analysis of Consolidated Bioprocess Technology for Green Energy Production and Environmental Sustainability Impact(Wiley, 2026) Vikram Singh, Neeraj Gupta, Deepti Singh, Gyanendra Tripathi, Ashish, Fredrick Kayusi
