Item Pyrazolone Derivatives: A Comprehensive Review of Pharmacological Evaluations as Potent Anti-Inflammatory Agents(Anu Books Publishers & Distributors, 2026) Bashir Ali Modu, Farhat Aisha AnsariPyrazolone, a key pyrazole derivative, has attracted significant attention from medicinal chemists for decades owing to its strong anti-inflammatory properties, serving as a foundational scaffold for novel drug development. This review traces the progression of pyrazolone-based research, emphasizing its incorporation into bioactive hybrids aimed at enhancing therapeutic efficacy beyond that of traditional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Global studies underscore pyrazolone’s effectiveness in managing inflammation associated with autoimmune diseases, arthritis, and pain, especially in cases where standard treatments are limited by adverse effects such as gastrointestinal toxicity and cardiovascular risks. Green synthetic methodologies, including microwave- and ultrasound-assisted techniques, have streamlined the production of pyrazolone derivatives, generating diverse compound libraries with improved pharmacokinetic profiles. One of the global leaders in the coffeehouse business is Starbucks which has fortified its HR proclamations by turning to these technologies. This research paper on use of AI and ML by Starbucks for HR Sampling Reviews four different cases on Recruitment, Let’s get started. Based on qualitative research analysis of secondary data collected from earlier written case studies, industry reports, official publications of Starbucks and some insights gathered from HR professionals. The analysis reveals that Starbucks uses AI and ML to transform recruitment, personalization workflow for its employees, forecasts workforce requirements and directs personnel decisions. It end with few recommendations for organization; those are planning to use AI in HR.Item Impact of Covid-19 on Behavioral Pattern of Online Shoppers in India(Book Rivers, 2026) Fayez Saad Bangash, Firoz HusainThe pandemic of COVID-19 has changed consumer behaviour across the world such as shopping online. Due to the lockdowns caused by the pandemic, it accelerated the adoption of e-commerce in India based on social distancing norms. This study explores the impact of COVID-19 on the behaviour of online shoppers in India. This study specifically aims at determining the change in the online buying behaviour. The study uses a mixed-method approach combining quantitative data from surveys and e-commerce platforms and qualitative data from interviews with consumers, and industry experts. As many people are now opting for online shopping regarding both essential and non-essential items, they also wish to make contactless payments and ensure safety and hygiene. Also discussed in the study were problems faced by consumers such as delayed delivery and availability of products and recommendations were provided for e-commerce platforms to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.Item The Impact of GST on Indian SMES: A Financial Perspective(Book Rivers, 2026) Gaurav Yadav, Firoz HusainIndia’s GST was implemented on July 1, 2017. It is one of the most historic tax reforms in the country. The GST being implemented to bring a single tax structure has affected businesses especially that of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). This research study analyses the financial impact of GST on Indian SMEs. It analyses the compliance cost, cash flow management, profitability, and operational efficiency. The study will use a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data will be obtained from revenue records, financial statements and government and industry reports; qualitative data will be collected from open-ended responses obtained through interviews with the owners of and experts on SMEs. Research show that GST has streamlined tax processes and minimised cascading effect of tax lines it has increased compliance burden and working capital requirements for SMEs. Recommendations are provided based on the findings to help SMEs adapt to GST payment and reap benefits of GST.Item Green Finance: Opportunities and Challenges in Sustainable Investing(Book Rivers, 2026) Fuzail Habib Alvi, Firoz HusainGreen finance plays a pivotal role in tackling environmental issues and ensuring sustainable development. It involves making financial investments to support activities that protect the environment and promote sustainability. This research examines the challenges and prospects of green finance in sustainable investing as well as green investment. A mixed approach adopts by the research which involves both quantitative and qualitative data collection. Quantitatively, financial reports and market analyses will assess. Qualitatively, it involves interviews with industry experts. The study shows that green finance can provide investors with brilliant opportunities. This includes achieving superior growth potential and diversification of risk. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including the absence of standardized metrics, regulatory uncertainty, and low investor awareness. Based on the results, recommendations will be made to enhance the growth and effectiveness of green finance for achieving the sustainable development.Item The Impact of Digital Banking on Financial Inclusion in India(Book Rivers, 2026) Mohammad Shams Khan, Firoz HusainProviding access to financial services to all individuals as well as enterprises is termed financial inclusion. Further, it is critical for economic growth and poverty reduction. The growing digital banking trend in India can be successfully used for the cause of financial inclusion in rural areas. In this study on digital banking and financial inclusion in India, the authors examine the role of mobile banking, internet banking and digital payment systems. The study used both quantitative and qualitative data. It sourced quantitative data from government reports, financial institution reports and qualitative data from interviews with actors in the field. According to the findings, access to financial services has been enhanced with convenience which also managed to have less transaction cost. Nevertheless, there are issues such as computer understanding, infrastructure problems, and safety of computers. As per the findings, recommendations are given to strengthen the role of digital banking in achieving universal financial inclusion in the country.Item A Study on The Performance of Mutual Funds in India: A Comparative Analysis(Book Rivers, 2026) Farheen Fatima, Firoz HusainMutual funds have become increasingly popular as investment options in India nowadays. Investors can invest in mutual funds for portfolio diversification and long-term financial goals. The purpose of this study is to assess how different types of mutual fund perform in India which include equity, debt and hybrid funds. The study uses the comparative analysis method and relies on secondary data from mutual fund schemes, financial statements and other publications. Returns, risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ratio), expense ratios, and portfolio turnover are key performance measures of selected mutual funds measured and analysed. The results show that return-wise equity funds beat debt and hybrid funds, but it will have more risk as well. While hybrid funds give you balanced equity and debt funds for investment, debt funds give you more stable returns albeit at a lower risk. Considering our findings, we make suggestions to investors on making right choices and optimal investment in mutual funds.Item A Study on People’s Perception of Post Office Saving Schemes with Special Reference to Lucknow(Book Rivers, 2026) Deepanshi Dixit, Nazia AkhlaqThe present study is an attempt to gauge the perception of people on Post Office Saving Schemes POSS of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The aim of the study is to measure the investor’s awareness, preference and satisfaction towards Various Poss. The paper also addresses client issues and provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness and popularity of these programs. Information was collected from 70 respondents by using a structured questionnaire. Further, the results of the study were analysed descriptively. According to the outcome, POSS is safe, and reliable but their use is not that famous as people are unaware of them and the technology has not improved to their level.
