Item INDUSTRY ACADEMIA COLLABORATION: A CATALYST FOR ACHIEVING SDG 9(Department of Biotechnology, Integral University, 2025) Shariq Shabbir, Syed Uzair Ali, Umar Khalid, Rizwana AtiqThe partnership between industry and academia plays a vital role in driving technological progress and economic growth. Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9) emphasises the need for resilient infrastructure, inclusive industrialisation, and continuous innovation, all of which can be significantly accelerated through strategic collaboration between educational institutions and businesses. By fostering knowledge exchange, industry-academia partnerships bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, leading to improved industrial efficiency and workforce development. This paper examines how industry-academia collaboration contributes to sustainable industrialisation by enhancing research, fostering innovation, and developing skilled professionals. Various collaboration models, such as joint research initiatives, industry-sponsored academic projects, technology transfer programs, and internship opportunities, have proven instrumental in strengthening industrial capabilities. Real-world case studies demonstrate how these partnerships drive economic advancement while ensuring sustainability and technological resilience. However, several barriers hinder effective collaboration, including differences in objectives, intellectual property concerns, bureaucratic red tape, and funding constraints. Addressing these challenges requires well-defined policies, government incentives, and streamlined mechanisms for knowledge sharing. Furthermore, emerging digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), provide new avenues for deeper engagement between academia and industry. This study underscores the need for structured and goal-oriented industry-academia partnerships that align with national and global sustainability objectives. Strengthening these collaborations will not only drive industrial growth and technological progress but also create employment opportunities and enhance global competitiveness. By fostering strong synergies between academic institutions and industries, nations can accelerate progress toward achieving SDG 9, ensuring long-term economic resilience and innovation-driven development.Item Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility; Connecting Goals with Standards(Bharti Publication, 2024) Neha Singh, Zia Afroz, Gaurav TiwariSustainable development, on the other hand, sets particular standards for business development in light of growing demands for the quality and reliability of financial information. Companies' corporate social responsibility is a necessity for sustainable business. Businesses now view sustainable development as a major issue, and Bulgarian businesses are no different. The creation of an integrated system of responsibility is the result of the extremely dynamic process that is the growth of non-financial reporting. The benefits of corporate social responsibility (CSR) are examined in this study along with how integrated reporting, in compliance with the criteria of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), might help achieve sustainable development goals.Item An Analysis of Agricultural Labor Productivity, Food Prices towards Sustainable Development in India(Nitya Publications, 2024) Aleena Alam Khan, Mohd ShahwaizAgricultural labor productivity, defined as the efficiency of converting labor inputs into agricultural outputs, is crucial for increasing agricultural yields, fostering economic growth, and enhancing food security. However, fluctuations in productivity and food prices can significantly affect both producers and consumers, exacerbating food insecurity and socioeconomic disparities, particularly in low-income regions. This study explores the intricate relationships between agricultural labor productivity, food prices, and sustainable development, emphasizing their combined impact on social justice, environmental sustainability, and economic stability. The guiding principle of sustainable development demands a balance between current resource use and future availability, incorporating social, economic, and environmental dimensions. By addressing the complex dynamics of agricultural systems and food markets, this study contributes to the development of resilient and equitable food systems that support long-term sustainability.Item Towards Sustainable Transition: Holistic Development and Inclusive Transformation of Indian Society(Bharti Publications, 2025) Zeba Aqil, Khurshed AlamTowards Sustainable Transition: Holistic Development and Inclusive Transformation of Indian Society is a significant academic contribution that Explore the multifaceted aspects of sustainable development and social transformation in India. It briefly explores the significance of tillage in agriculture, which emerged in response to the devastating American Dust Bowl of the 1930s. Subsequently, it introduces CA as advancement over CT. This study emphasizes CA's role in promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly crop cultivation practices. It draws a case study of Asia to illustrate the successful implementation of CA practices, resulting in improved production sustainability and profitability. Additionally, the study examines the implications of CA on greenhouse gas emissions and its contribution to mitigating global warming. Ultimately, it underscores the imperative for agriculture to adopt more resource efficient and environmentally conscious practices to meet the growing demands of a burgeoning global population. Encouraging the adoption of CA management systems emerges as a key strategy for achieving this objective.Item Driving Sustainability: An Integrated Approach of 4G Model for Green Manufacturing, Retailing, Advertising, and Product Offering(RUDRA PUBLISHERS & DISTRIBUTORS, 2023) Afreen FatimaWe are all witnessing a green drive in our economy, which not only focuses on the fulfilment of consumer needs and wants but also on the needs of the environment. In the modern world, numerous innovative changes are occurring in order to configure a new system or process of carrying out an operation in a market, where satisfaction is concerned with both the consumer and the environment. Therefore, it is important to learn about the many mechanisms that are present in the market today so that one can make use of them to allocate resources as efficiently as possible while preventing waste and environmental damage. In addition to studying the various elements that make up a market for a green mechanism, this research seeks to simplify the paradigm for implementing a green mechanism, which will aid businesses in embracing “go green” campaigns. In order to ensure that the use of such resources results in sustainability, this paper also aims to provide a brief analysis of these ideas and their significance in the rapidly evolving modern world. This will assist us in achieving our objectives for sustainable development and enable us to configure a more accurate model of the green mechanism that is being used in our markets. The idea of zero waste, which advocates for the economical use of resources allocated in a way that supports the idea of sustainable development, is also evident in today’s world.
