    Agro-Nanotechnology: A Way Towards Sustainable Agriculture

    Addressing the global population's dietary needs is crucial amid crop damage issues like insect infestations and adverse weather affecting one-third of conventionally farmed crops. Nanotechnology, recognized for its efficacy and environmental benefits, has gained attention in the past decade. While it has transformed medicine, its applications in agriculture are underexplored. Current research investigates the use of nanomaterials in agriculture for targeted delivery of genes, insecticides, fertilizers, and growth regulators. Nanotechnology shows promise in mitigating abiotic stress in plants by mimicking antioxidative enzymes. This chapter assesses nanoparticles' roles in plant research, highlighting their effectiveness as growth regulators, nanopesticides, nanofertilizers, antimicrobial agents, and targeted transporters. Understanding plant-nanomaterial interactions opens new avenues for enhancing agricultural practices, improving disease resistance, and crop productivity, and optimizing fertilizer use.

    Green Chemistry: Making Chemistry Environment-Friendly

    Chemistry is all around the universe. Green chemistry underpins the enormous social and technological changes in the future. Beginning from eco-friendly chemical synthesis to green catalyst via green chemical reactions, it finds a good correlation with the environment, taking biosynthesis and biomimetic principles into consideration. Widespread interest in this field is seen today among scientists. Considering the present scenario of “The age of tools”, the compatibility with technology today is of utmost importance. Green chemistry is one of the powerful tools to cut the Gordian knot of pollution by reducing chemicals in the surroundings to make them eco-friendly. This chapter emphasizes the various aspects of green chemistry, from its principles to its applications, leading to a sustainable eco-friendly future.

    An Overview on Factors Affecting Customer’s Adoption of Mobile Banking & Its Importance in Sustainable Growth

    The world is changing rapidly with the quick advancement in innovation and technologies along with the rapid change in socioeconomics and lifestyle of individuals, the traditional way of banking is also updating by giving way to electronic banking (e-banking) as well as portable banking (mobile banking). Whereas, data suggest that the acceptance rate of innovation and technology in banking is extremely low. In India, as stated by an RBI, banks have initiated Mobile Banking tasks and there are 22 million active portable financial clients, which is generally 5% of the absolute bank accounts. Moreover, technical issues, confidentiality, as well as lack of awareness are considered the significant reason for client resistance to portable (mobile) banking. Thus, it is important for specialized businesses to understand the situation as well as fulfil the needs of clients in order to adopt and utile mobile banking services.
