Abstract

Fundamental principles of food plant design are explored by integrating management practices with layout planning. The discussion covers key managerial concepts, the various functions of a manager, and different levels of management, highlighting their importance in ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and control within food processing operations. This discusses the principles and best practices of efficient plant layout, including various types of plant layouts and flow patterns commonly adopted in food industries.
