| dc.description.abstract | The growing urgency of global challenges, such as climate change, social inequality, and governance failures, has shifted the focus of corporations toward sustainable practices that extend beyond profit-making. The environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework has emerged as a key mechanism for holistically assessing corporate sustainability. However, the complexities embedded in sustainability issues demand solutions that cut across traditional disciplinary boundaries. This paper explores ESG as a transdisciplinary convergence point by integrating knowledge from environmental science, social sciences, law, ethics, and corporate management. By applying a transdisciplinary lens, this paper illustrates how ESG frameworks can be strengthened through inclusive stakeholder engagement, the co-production of knowledge, and systemic thinking. The study highlights that ESG can only become a meaningful driver of corporate sustainability and contribute to the broader goals of sustainable development through transdisciplinary collaboration. | |
