Abstract

Emotional Intelligence (EI) has emerged as a critical factor influencing workplace dynamics, productivity, and employee well-being. This chapter delves into the significance of EI in the modern workplace, exploring its role in fostering a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing organizational culture. Emotional intelligence, which encompasses self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills, has been shown to enhance interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and leadership effectiveness.
