Abstract

Educational technology and Information and Communication Technology has been making considerable impact on the society due to their Universal spread the urban community have seen the positive contributions of ICT and several dimensions like increases in efficiency communication and information on any time anywhere basis however significant and mass impact is yet to be felt among the rural communities this book has been written to provide the readers with the knowledge and skill in the use of educational technology and ICT for managing the teaching learning affairs both at the preparation and the in -service stages. With the objective of bridging this digital divide a large number of initiatives have been taken in different parts of India and our country is well poised to take the benefits of ICT to a common man. Landscape is said to take advantage of the flashing ICT initiative by Institutions and more specifically through information centres, these are limitations in providing much required content and capacity building to these stakeholders.
