Abstract
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) town located in Lucknow, one of the premier aerospace and defence manufacturers in India. HAL is involved in the development of military and commercial aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as their systems and upgrades. The firm's business strategies are aligned with sustainability, which incorporates the environmental, economic and social dimensions of development as a tool for long-term growth. This paper discusses HAL's contribution towards sustainability through responsible manufacturing, energy-efficient technologies and employee engagement. Moreover, it studies the contributions of the organization to innovation, economic development, and national security in a sustainable manner being on par with global standards.
