Students and learners are more engaged in digital interaction than human interactions. With more advancement in technology these gadgets are easily and cheaply available. Technology, like a coin, has both its blessings and its drawbacks. Smartphones have made our lives too easy that we have somehow become reliant upon them. he invention of technology has been a boon to education, but in the present context the supplementary use of technology has both pros and cons. In this study it was found that the use of smartphones in the teaching learning although advanced their learning but also developed the tendency of addiction towards it. They used it to play games, access internet, send messages which consumed lot of time. It was also seen that use of smart Phones also developed the ability of trouble shooting among the students. A major change in learning pattern was observed that the use of treading materials such as books was reduced.
