Stress is a frequent occurrence that affects people from all areas of life and can originate from a variety of sources. It can originate from several factors, including personal problems, personal struggles, financial worries, and work- related demands. Prolonged stress can negatively impact mental and physical health if not managed carefully. Effective stress management and self-care techniques are therefore essential for fostering a healthier and more balanced way of life. This article discusses self-care routines and stress management strategies that can help people reduce stress and enhance their general well- being. Self-care refers to the deliberate use of a wide range of techniques to maintain or enhance health and well-being. Neglecting self-care in today's society can lead to increased stress, and poor overall health. On the other hand, prioritizing self-care promotes resilience, improves emotional intelligence, and protects individuals from the negative consequences of daily pressure.
