For university teachers in Lucknow, factors like salary, promotion opportunities, research support, work environment, and job enrichment were studied. Findings show that promotion opportunities and job enrichment are the strongest predictors of satisfaction. Public and private universities differ in salary, promotion, and growth, while gender, marital status, and experience don’t matter much.
